Twenty years ago, I created the character of "Ray". This blog is a diary of the people, places and my encounters dressed as a homeless man. Ray brought me across Illinois,Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Arizona, New Mexico, New York, and New Jersey to more than 1 million people. The entries that follow record the experiences which have challenged me to see others with eyes of compassion. I invite anyone who has experienced Ray, to share your own stories. Of course, all comments are welcome.
John, How wonderful to have Ray among us again. From the first time I encountered Ray at one of District 54's Snowflake events I have always kept Ray's message in mind and heart. Thank you for taking time to help our young generation become more aware and accepting of others. Your message is powerful and sustains through time.

John,
ReplyDeleteThank you for bringing Ray back and challenging us all not to judge with our eyes and even our minds. Oh you are so correct in your observation of a hurting world, starting with adults and now flooding over into our childrens lives. I Look forward to bringing Ray back to St. John Neumann some time in the future.
